2025 Joint Conference on Electrostatics

The Electrostatic Society of America (ESA), the Institute of Electrostatics Japan (IEJ), la Société Française d’Electrostatique (SFE), and the Electrostatic Processes Committee (EPC) of the IEEE Industrial Applications Society (IEEE-IAS) are pleased to announce the 2025 Joint Conference on Electrostatics.
The 2025 Joint Conference on Electrostatics will be held June 22-26, 2025, at Brock University (St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada).
Presentation and paper contributions are invited in all scientific and technical areas of electrostatics, ranging from fundamental physics and new developments to applications in industry, atmospheric and space sciences, biology, medicine, energy, and other fields utilizing electrostatic phenomena.

Student Presentations
All student participants will be offered a substantially reduced conference fee. Furthermore, the Student Presentation Competition is open to graduate and undergraduate students who wish to showcase their presentations.

Tutorials and Demonstrations
Tutorial sessions on various topics related to electrostatics are planned for the day before conference officially starts (Sunday, June 9th 2024). This will be a great opportunity to broaden your expertise and satisfy your curiosity in the areas that you wondered about but did not have a chance to explore. If you plan to attend these sessions please ensure to also register for tutorials at the time of registering for the conference.

Publishing in a Special Issue of the Journal of Electrostatics
Authors have an opportunity to publish their work in a Special Edition of the Journal of Electrostatics. Submitted papers will undergo a regular review process before publishing. The submission website for the journal is located at:

It is important that authors select VSI: 2024 ESA Annual Meeting when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process. The deadline for submissions is June 1, 2024.
